Nasir al-Din Shah's drawing of one of his wives
This drawing which belonged to the private library of Husayn I‘timad al-Saltanah, was later obtained by Riza Kasravi. Another piece of drawing similar to this item, can be found in the appendix of the third volume of the book Al-Ma’asir va al-asar.

Bibi Khanum Astarabadi
Mihrangiz Mallah, daughter of Khadijah Afzal Vaziri and Aqa Buzurg Mallah, painted this portrait of her grandmother, Bibi Khanum Astarabadi, based on the descriptions she had heard.

Illustrated pilgrimage scroll
This scroll illustrates the Shi‘i pilgrimage from Mecca to Mashhad. The images are accompanied by verses describing different stages of the journey and the related rites. It was lithographed in six sections and glued to a fabric (probably cotton) backing. The scroll, which was commissioned by Muhammad Ja‘far Kasa’i, a cloth merchant from Karbalaʼ, was acquired in Kirman in ca. 1971 and is now in a private collection in Kailua, Hawaii.
